Looking at their website, $23k seems pretty steep for a GTR with almost 100,000 miles on it. The R32 usually goes for $10-$20k FOB depending on condition.

On a serious note, he picked a pretty dumb time to buy one of these. Soon people are going to start importing a fuck-bucket of them and the price will not be stable at all.

He should have imported a kei car or something a bit less playstation. I'm thinking a classic French car.

He gave a hint in that he said the GTR would be in the garage with the Rover on the street. So, the 2nd car has to be worth less than the GTR.

Maybe my suggestion of a classic VW bus isn't totally out of the running yet?!

They tend to pick fairly rust free, tip-top examples. Those Trueno's they sold are still kinda crazy high though. Been in talks with them to hunt down a good but not great (i.e. relatively afforable) C10 Skyline.
